Harvest Note
Following a relatively cold and wet winter, with snow in February and March, the vines woke up in April, with bud break and slow growth in early May. From mid-May, the weather became warmer and dry, and we saw a fast-flowering stage in mid-June. The summer stayed warm and dry, offering a perfect maturation process. From late August, the nights cooled off, promising great flavors and, nice acidity. The chardonnay had dynamic alcoholic fermentation in our French oak barrels and concrete eggs. They showed aromatic complexity and tension from the first day, a promising vintage!
Tasting Note
A wine with a clear golden color, a subtle nose of jasmine, orange blossom, white peach and fresh brioche, and a palate full of tension, delicate and invigorating.

AGING: 16 months in French oak barrels (20% new), stainless steel tank and concrete egg

Though it has a distinctive profile, Chardonnay reflects other factors such as soil composition and vinification technique. Chardonnay is a reliable, hardy and prolific vine whose only real vulnerabilities are frost and uneven development of fruit.
