This is a Cru Beaujolais assembled from three important vineyards within the Morgon appellation. Vines grow here in both pink granite and also blue Diorite. These conditions tend to result in wines with darker fruit notes, more tannins, and bolder structure. All fruit is manually harvested, rigorously sorted, fermented with natural yeasts, and aged in concrete vats and oak barrels for 10 months.

Harvest Note
2023 was notable for its changeable weather: a mild winter, a variable spring, a summer that swung between heat spikes, cool conditions and thunderstorms. The quality of the grapes we harvested reached a level far higher than expected, with perfect phenolic ripeness and remarkably even levels of maturity.
Tasting Note
With hints of clove and blackberry, this medium weight red wine has a bold presence and long finish. The tannins are chewy and will refine with a bit of age, while offering a nice complement to protein-based cuisines.
