A special rosé, made with 100% Pinot Grigio grapes that have a natural coppery color. Once in the winery, the grapes are de-stemmed and left to macerate for a few hours, in order to extract the typical light rosé color from the skins; thereafter the grapes are softly pressed and the juice undergoes the fermentation with temperature control. Once the fermentation is over, the wine is matured on the fine lees for a few months, to enrich it with complex secondary aromas.

Harvest Note
Winter saw lower-than-average temperatures and precipitation. Spring was cooler than it has been in years, which caused a delay in budbreak. But mild temperatures in May brought everything ten days up. Flowering took place in a mild period, which didn’t see any rain, guaranteeing excellent fruit set. June and July saw higher-than-average temps and little rain, which raised a few alarms. However, late-summer rains alleviated any cause for concern. The Pinot Grigio grapes for the rosé wine were picked just a little bit earlier than usual. Light maceration of the grapes before pressing guarantees the delicate rosé color. The fruity notes are balanced by mineral notes and the silky palate is full, with a zesty backbone.
Tasting Note
Pale rosé in the color, fruity and floral on the nose, with hints of pear, acacia blossoms, and grapefruit. Dry and delicate on the palate, well balanced, with a pleasant fresh note.
Food Pairing
Excellent as an aperitif, or served with grilled fish, white meat and light dishes.
