Bollini Merlot comes from Trentino, where the clay soils in the cool, dry highland vineyards are ideally suited to producing clean, elegant and aromatic wines of great charm. Hand harvested grapes are destemmed and crushed, and vinification is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation in large oak casks

Harvest Note
Winter saw average temperatures and good precipitation. Frost on April 7-8 conditioned vine production and cluster size. The end of Spring and summer also saw average temperatures, rain and hail. The temperatures were stable in August and September, which allowed for a timely harvest of healthy grapes. The perfect climate in September allowed for the harvest of perfectly healthy grapes with excellent sugar levels. The wines feature beautiful notes of ripe red fruit and excellent balance between the structure and tannin profile.
Tasting Note
Rich ruby with garnet reflections. Fruity on the nose with hints of spices, red fruits and pink pepper; dry, mouth-filling and harmonious with elegant tannins, very well balanced by the acidity; very long on the finish.
Food Pairing
Pairs very well with meat dishes, cheeses and full-flavored first courses.
