Orvieto Classico is a traditional white produced under the Orvieto DOC of Umbria. At Castello di Titignano the grapes come from vineyards located alongside Corbara Lake. The vineyards consist of volcanic soils rich in texture and minerals. When harvest occurs the grapes are handpicked. The Incisa della Rocchetta family has been producing Orvieto Classico in this zone for centuries.

Harvest Note
2021 registered a cold and rainy winter but also an unusual warm temperature in early spring interrupted by a few days of freezy climate: this caused a lower grape production but good in quality.
Tasting Note
Refreshing, light to medium bodied wine. Some citrus and tropical fruit notes typical to Procanico and Grechetto, with also a great deal of minerality due to the limestone soils.
Food Pairing
To be drank either on its own as an aperitif, or with light food like salads, vegetables, charcuterie.
