Tenuta di Salviano is located in Umbria, along the wonderful nature trail of the Tevere river park, between Todi and Orvieto; together with Castello di Titignano, Salviano is an integral part of the ancient property, founded in the Middle Ages by the Montemarte family and following carried on by the Corsini princes who bought it in the early 1800s and started the high-quality wines production. In the second half of the 20th century, the Marchesa Nerina Corsini inherited the estate and, after her marriage to the Marchese Incisa della Rocchetta, she began its first modernization, pursued by her son Giovanni Incisa della Rocchetta and his wife Tara since 2015.

Harvest Note
2020 registered a very dry and warm early spring; it followed a rainy period in May/June and a very hot and dry climate that went on until the end of the summer. Manual harvest occurred in the early hours of the day to preserve the integrity of the grapes. Upon arrival in the cantina and prior to being pressed, the grapes undergo a second selection and kept for a few hours in the cool room to fix the aromatic profile.
Tasting Note
Pure and crisp, with elegant aromas of ripe fruit. A well-structured, refreshing and beautifully balanced wine.
Food Pairing
To be drank either on its own as an aperitif, or with light food like salads, vegetables, charcuterie.
