Composed of fruit from multiple terroirs within the appellation, assembled to represent the unique character of this prestigious village. Production is consistent with other Jadot red wines: fermentation with natural yeasts, aging in barrels (1/3 new) for 16 months.

Harvest Note
The 2021 vintage was memorable for the extreme challenges it posed to growers. The defining event was a hard freeze in April which lasted several days, and the subsequent dramatic reduction in harvest volumes. Added to this were cool and wet summer conditions which required constant vigilance. The delayed harvest eventually yielded tiny volumes of pristine grapes which express a vibrant and energetic purity.
Tasting Note
This is a full-bodied and powerful red wine, yet with an elegant texture and refined presence. Aromas of bing cherry and mocha are intriguing, while over the long finish more subtle dried flower and spice notes emerge.
