This wine originating from a Domaine vineyard in Serignan-du-Comtat, north of Orange and Avignon. The 30+ year old vineyard combines all the traditional grape varietals for the Southern Rhône Valley: Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. The vines are planted in different types of soil with calcareous sandstones with very little clay that are well sited on gently undulating slopes producing high quality grapes that turn into fleshy and balanced wines.

The grapes are manually harvested immediately whent he grapes hit maturity with the grapes sorted on tables. Co-fermentation of the 3 vines occurs in vats for a long maceration, about 3 weeks. The extraction is done by soft methods in order to respect the fruit and tannic quality. Aged in stainless steel vats on fine lees for 9 months until bottling.

Harvest Note
The 2018 vintage experienced a little bit of everything with a rainy then hot then dry year. The initially rains were the heaviest seen in several decades, but the high summer temperatures helped regulate everything and resulted in excellent quality grapes. This vintage has silky round tannins with a velvety finish and low acidity levels.
Tasting Note
In appearance, this blend has a dark, profound color. On the nose it delivers waves of clean red berry fruit flavors along with some perfumed notes and sweet spices. The finish is very delicate and balanced. Overall, this is a medium to full-bodied wine with a very silky texture.
