Pinot Nero vineyards were planted in the 1990's upon decision of Donna Nerina. The altitude and the soil of the estate at Castello di Titignano were perfectly suitable for Pinot Nero grapes. So, after long experimentation with sparkling wine, in 2015 the winery decided to satisfy the market request of a Rosé still wine, and Tenuta di Salviano began to produce Pinot Nero Rosé at the Castello di Titignano estate vineyards.

2022 vintage
Harvest Note
2022 vintage has been a definitely unconventional vintage since the winter was quite mild; it followed a spring rich of rain showers and storms; the summer assisted to extremely hot temperatures and drought that went on until the end of the summer. The rain between September and October balanced the moisture pretty well and the quality of the grapes was good and with a rich sugar concentration.
Tasting Note
Light pink with reflections of ruby, this wine is full of aromas of zesty citrus fruit, some earthy notes and charming hints of red fruits like strawberry and cherry. On the palate is bright and refreshing, with flavors that mirror the nose.
Food Pairing
Best drunk as an aperitif or with light fare. Charcuterie, salads, fish and even pizza and lighter pasta dishes.
