Italy / Bianco Umbria IGT
A singular interpretation of a Pinot Nero Rose from Umbria. This single vineyard wine of high altitude and cool exposition demonstrates the potential for this grape. Small production, fine crafting and immediate drinkability.
Harvest Note
2018 produced a good vintage, thanks to a rainy spring and an ideal June & July. At harvest, the grapes showed a wonderful condition, maintaining fresh characteristics and plenty of harmony and balance.
Tasting Note
Bright, delicate pink color with ruby reflections. On the nose it is fresh, with aromas of white flowers and citrus peel, that in the mouth combines with the fruitiness and mineral notes typical of this soil to bestow a rich and persistent finish.
Food Pairing
Excellent as an aperitif or together with fried dishes of fish and vegetables, fresh cheeses and tasty meats, à la tartare, sausages or salami.
