Long-term grower relationships ensure consistent access to high-quality fruit from diverse sites. The wine marries lush black fruit and sturdy tannins of warmer northern districts with the bright fruit and acidity of cooler southern climates. Each lot was hand-harvested, cold-soaked, and then fermented and barrel aged prior to blending.
Harvest Note
Winter and spring rains in 2023 replenished soils, supporting balanced vine growth through a long season. Moderate summer temperatures allowed slow, even ripening, building vibrant flavors and fresh acidity. Warm days and cool nights in early fall refined Cabernet Sauvignon, delivering full ripeness with lower sugars and lively acidity. This resulted in dynamic fruit, concentrated structure, and elegant balance.
Tasting Note
Rich aromas of black cherry, blackberry, dried sage, mocha, and warm baking spice. The palate delivers layers of cherry preserves and ripe blackberry, accented by hints of dried herbs and anise. This wine is full bodied with integrated tannins and a long, refined finish layered with dark berry, stone fruit, graphite, dark chocolate, and baking spice.
