This limited-edition centenary cuvee, produced in just six barrels, is set to intrigue discerning enthusiasts who cherish the Beaujolais region, inviting them to explore a new expression of the Rochegres terroir. For this special release, Chateau des Jacques continues to innovate with an original blend created especially for the occasion. This wine is composed of 50% syrah and 50% gamay, both from the Rochegres slope in the Moulin-a-Vent appellation.

Harvest Note
The vintage 2024 brought a respite from the increasingly normal hot and dry conditions, though there was significantly more pressure from moisture-driven vine disease. This led to a long growing season with harvest dates of September 17th for the gamay and October 2nd for the syrah. Dry and windy conditions prevailed through September.
Tasting Note
This is a sleek and elegant red wine, featuring crushed red and black berry fruit with notes of white pepper and spice. Tannins are very fine, alcohol is moderate and imperceptible, and the finish is dry.
