Les Perrières is a 1.15 hectare parcel on a steep slope oriented to the southeast. Vines here are 50 years old, in a soil of silt and clay with stones. The wine is vinified in barrels with 25% new oak, followed by 7 months in stainless steel tanks.

Harvest Note
The 2021 vintage was memorable for the extreme challenges it posed to growers. The defining event was a hard freeze in April which lasted several days, and the subsequent dramatic reduction in harvest volumes. Added to this were cool and wet summer conditions which required constant vigilance. The delayed harvest eventually yielded tiny volumes of pristine grapes which express a vibrant and energetic purity.
Tasting Note
This is always the most racy of the cuvées. Aromas are delicate and floral, featuring lemon zest and verbena. The energetic presence both adds length and volume on the palate.
Food Pairing
Pair with all seafood cuisines, whether grilled, sauteed or raw. Also recommended with vegetables in butter or cream sauces.
