Perched iat almost 4,000 ft in elevation in the Campo de los Andes sub region of the Valle de Uco, the Albaneve Vineyard's soils are deep. They have colluvial, light and permeable origin with sandy loam texture and a profile consisting mainly of rocks. The irrigation method is traditional, fed by the Andes mountain range. The climate is cold, with warm days and cool nights. The soft and constant breeze contributes to the health of the vineyard and its slow and balanced ripening process. Albaneve Vineyard’s grape vines were planted in 1999. Currently, the pruning technique used is Single Guyot, and Massal Selection is characterized by small clusters with big berries that are not very crowded.

Harvest Note
A typical wine vintage of Mendoza, 2019 had moderate temperatures, sunny days, and rare rains. These ideal weather conditions resulted in grapes of exceptional quality and health.
Tasting Note
Intense and wild, like the terroir it comes from. On the nose, aroma of red fruit such as blueberries and blackberries, and tropical notes, reminiscent of guava jam. In the mouth, powerful, broad with a refreshing acidity.

AGING: 100% of the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months (2/3 are new barrels and 1/3 are second use barrels)
