Situated right in the centre of the village of Fuissé, this Clos is just over two "hectares" in size and is planted on a shallow slope that faces east. Although a small parcel of vines was planted in 2003, most of the vineyard dates back to 1956, and is therefore more than 60 years old, making it one of the oldest owned by the domaine.

Harvest Note
The vintage was challenging due to excessive rainfall through most of the growing season, and the inevitable poor flowering and fungal pressures which resulted. High temperatures contributed to the tropical ambiance, which only began to moderate in the final weeks before harvest, which occured between September 12 - 23.
Tasting Note
Slightly reductive with a hint of wood smoke or flint, this wine is intense with a fresh and creamy texture at the same time. Notes of fresh hazelnut and bergamot characterize it.
