The Constanza vineyard's 12 acres were originally planted with Malbec in 1923. It is completely dry farmed with naturally low yields thanks to a natural aquifer that the roots are able to access. The canopy is left to grow freely in order to keep the grape clusters shadowed during heat spells, preserving the quality of the grapes. The soil is primarily decomposed granite from Chile's coastal range, with small amounts of clay and sand. Each of these elements, together with the elevation and latitude of the Maule region make for a truly incredible site and super terroir-expressive wine.
