This wine begins in the El Arcangel de Marchigüe estate vineyards. The decomposed granite soils left behind by glacial and colluvional activity mix with more recent deposits of clay and organic matter. Both the Syrah and the Grenache that go into this rosé are planted to a density of 13,727 plants per acre, trained to vertical shoot position, and produce average yields of up to 22,239 per acre. The plants are managed to maintain optimal foliage until harvest, which helps obtain fruit with an excellent ratio of sugar to acidity.

Harvest Note
The recent 2020 season was characterized as one of the driest in recent years. Above all, it was very extreme in our vineyards in Marchigue, from where we obtain the grapes for this wine. With a dry winter and a spring free of significant frost, the vegetative growth period proceeded normally. Of course, the vineyard had to be irrigated prior to flowering, in order to obtain viable flowers, and therefore well-developed clusters. However, and explained by the low availability of water, low yields, small bunches and small grapes were obtained, promoted increases in the aromatic and color potential of the grapes. The harvest was carried out a couple of weeks earlier than in 2019, with healthy and high-quality bunches for vinification.
Tasting Note
Brilliant pale coral in color. The nose is intense and expressive with aromas of fresh raspberries and tart cherries, along with hints of pineapple and apricot. The palate is balanced and crisp with natural acidity and a medium finish.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with pork, Pasta, cheeses, sushi, salads and white meat.
