The grapes for this wine grow in vineyards at the El Arcángel estate at Marchigüe, in the Colchagua Valley. The soils are granitic, with profiles that show a mixture of materials deposited by both glacial and colluvial activity, as well as varying amounts of clay and organic matter. The Syrah and the Grenache that go into this rosé are trained to vertical shoot position, with a density of 5,555 plants per 2 acres, producing average yields of up to 8,029 lbs/acre. The plants are managed to maintain optimal foliage, which helps obtain fruit with an excellent ratio of sugar to acidity.
