From a tiny parcel less than 1 hectare and located midslope, with soils of alluvial clay and silt over limestone marl. Vines range in age from 25 to 50 years. The wine is vinified in barrels with 25% new oak, followed by 9 months in stainless steel tanks.

Harvest Note
The 2021 vintage was memorable for the extreme challenges it posed to growers. The defining event was a hard freeze in April which lasted several days, and the subsequent dramatic reduction in harvest volumes. Added to this were cool and wet summer conditions which required constant vigilance. The delayed harvest eventually yielded tiny volumes of pristine grapes which express a vibrant and energetic purity.
Tasting Note
This is a classic Fuissé wine with superb density and power. Floral aromas are complemented by lemon balm and earth, and with aeration the full complexity becomes apparent.
Food Pairing
Pair with all seafood cuisines, whether grilled, sauteed or raw. Also recommended with vegetables in butter or cream sauces.
