This is a tiny parcel of just 0.69 hectare located between the Domaine and the village church. Soils are deep sedimentary loam derived from clay resting on a bedrock of limestone. Vines average 43 years of age. From the onset of the new Premier Cru appellation this parcel has been renamed from "Le Clos" to "Le Clos de Jeanne" in honor of Jeanne Ferret and her far-sighted approach to individual Fuissé terroirs.

2021 vintage
Harvest Note
The 2021 vintage was memorable for the extreme challenges it posed to growers. The defining event was a hard freeze in April which lasted several days, and the subsequent dramatic reduction in harvest volumes. Added to this were cool and wet summer conditions which required constant vigilance. The delayed harvest eventually yielded tiny volumes of pristine grapes which express a vibrant and energetic purity.
Tasting Note
This wine is instantly charming and delicate, with notes of fresh pastry and lemon zest. There is a subtle energy with lengthens the fresh sensation on the palate.
Food Pairing
Pair with all seafood cuisines, whether grilled, sauteed or raw. Also recommended with vegetables in butter or cream sauces.
