Alta Vista’s iconic wine, Alto, represents the benchmark among Argentine wines, crafted from the highest quality grapes from small vineyard parcels with low yields. Hand-picked grapes go through a double selection process on a sorting table. Alto is vinified in small, epoxy-lined concrete tanks which allow a gentle, precise vinification and extraction of polyphenols to produce an elegant wine.

Harvest Note
A typical wine vintage of Mendoza, 2019 had moderate temperatures, sunny days, and rare rains. These ideal weather conditions resulted in grapes of exceptional quality and health.
Tasting Note
Brilliant ruby red in color. Fresh fruit aromas on the nose, cherry, blackberry and guava, and a touch of bay leaves with oak notes coming through and providing aromatic complexity. Full-bodied and superbly structure on the palate, lively in attack, but with a complex rich finish. Firm backbone with excellent acidity and great aging potential. It is recommended to decant it before drinking it cold, between 60ºF and 65ºF. This wine can age for over 10 years.
