From Paso Robles the heart of California's Central Coast, which see a longer growing season than Napa characterized by warm, sunny days and cool, clear nights. We build layers of fruit in this wine through picking at different ripeness levels, one early to bring tangy acidity and herbaceous notes, the other later to impart tropical aromatics. We use no barrels, ferment at low temperatures and bottle fresh to capture the aromas and flavors of the vintage. Drawing from 50 years of the Cakebread family's winemaking experience and selecting grapes that reflect the unique personalities of their regions, Bezel crafts quality, fruit-forward wines to elevate your everyday wine drinking occasion.

Harvest Note
The growing season in the Paso Robles AVA for 2025 was remarkably mild with a long cool spring and late, warm (but not hot) summer. There were slightly more growing degree days than 2024 which equates to a long ripening season, enabling us to time our harvest for optimal flavors. Paso Robles received very little rain during the 2024-2025 season, and this was evident in the vineyards, with less vigorous canopies and moderate yields with intense aromatics and freshness.
Tasting Note
Aromas of lime zest and pink grapefruit. This wine is bright and crisp with vibrant fruit, restrained alcohol and zesty acidity.
