This centerpiece 12.2 acre parcel came to Jadot with the 2017 acquisition of Domaine Prieur-Brunet. The Jadot viticulure team revamped the vineyard with conversion to organic farming. The site is mid-slope facing southeast, with clay and marl soils over limestone.

2023 vintage
Harvest Note
2023 was a hot and dry growing season which was saved by significant rain in June. This allowed the vines to withstand summer heat and drought and led to ideal sanitary conditions and a modest yield yet concentrated vintage.
Tasting Note
Ths wine exemplifies the potential greatmess of Santenay with its forceful yet smooth presence, dark fruit essence, and graceful spice notes on the long finish. This wine is enjoyable upon release when the fruit is most intense yet will also be fascinating to revisit after 5 - 10 years of careful aging.
