The grapes for the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon come from the finest vineyard sites in the best appellations of Napa Valley, including the Sequoia Grove Estate and Tonella Estate Vineyards in Rutherford, as well as select parcels from top growers, including Morisoli and Beckstoffer in Rutherford, Stagecoach in Atlas Peak, Lamoreaux in the Oak Knoll District and Healy in St. Helena. All fruit is hand sorted before undergoing a cold soak followed by inoculation with French yeast strains. Individual wines are fermented in small batches with daily pump-overs. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and is further aged in oak before bottling.

2019 vintage
Harvest Note
The 2019 vintage was an excellent vintage with good yields of high quality grapes. The year began with heavy rains in winter, followed by a few spring showers. Summer weather was moderate and ideal. Outside of anticipated heat spikes in August and September, conditions during harvest were also mild and lovely. As a result, hang times were long enough to achieve perfect phenolic ripeness while maintaining color and acidity. The 2019 vintage is high quality, with a signature of freshness, generosity of fruit, and lush tannins.
Tasting Note
This classically rich Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is red burgundy in color with aromas of black cherry and creamy vanilla, followed by blueberry, blackberry, and cherry cola. On the palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon is seamless and elegant with silky tannins, intense flavors of cherry and floral notes, and a hint of burnt sugar and roasted nuts.
Food Pairing
A versatile food wine, the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with any red meat on the grill, pork tenderloin, heavy cheeses and grilled vegetables.
