Like all of the 36 Premier Cru vineyards in the Beaune appellation, Beaune Bressandes is situated on a slope, which gives the vineyard superior sun exposure. Beaune Bressandes is situated in the northern part of the commune, where wines are light in color, with soft fruit flavors. The fruit is destemmed and fermented in open tanks for up to a month, in order to extract color, tannins and aromas.
