Jadot controls several esteemed parcels in this Grand Cru and blends to produce a supreme statement of quality. Typical for this Grand Cru the wine is overall elegant, supple and enchanting with notes of jasmine and green tea supported by wild strawberry and subtle earth.

Harvest Note
The 2021 vintage was memorable for the extreme challenges it posed to growers. The defining event was a hard freeze in April which lasted several days, and the subsequent dramatic reduction in harvest volumes. Added to this were cool and wet summer conditions which required constant vigilance. The delayed harvest eventually yielded tiny volumes of pristine grapes which express a vibrant and energetic purity.
Tasting Note
Deceptively supple this is never the less quite full-bodied yet expansive and smooth. The bright acidity carries the fruit across the palate with evolving complex notes of mint and smoke, wild berries and tobacco, and a very long finish.
Food Pairing
Ideal with full-bodied and expressive meat dishes whether grilled or roasted. Also accompanies anything with truffles or mushrooms, or aged cheeses.
