This is a village wine from the single vineyard of Les Beaumonts. This vineyard has the distinction of lying West of the famous RN 74 highway, situated among the high-quality terroirs of Savigny and Aloxe-Corton. Production adheres to customary Jadot practices - manual harvest, natural yeast fermentation, and aging in oak for 18 months.

Harvest Note
The 2021 vintage was memorable for the extreme challenges it posed to growers. The defining event was a hard freeze in April which lasted several days, and the subsequent dramatic reduction in harvest volumes. Added to this were cool and wet summer conditions which required constant vigilance. The delayed harvest eventually yielded tiny volumes of pristine grapes which express a vibrant and energetic purity.
Tasting Note
Typified by fresh and lively strawberry aromas, and with a soft texture plus abundant fruit on the palate, this is an ideal casual yet authentic red Burgundy at the villages level. This wine is most enjoyable when young and exuberant although will age for several years.
Food Pairing
Fine with all casual cuisines, barbeque, pizza, even tacos.
