This is a villages level red from a single vineyard "Les Beaumonts" near the foot of the Corton slope. Typically, this parcel ripens early and produces fruity and generous wines which are enjoyable soon after bottling.

Harvest Note
The 2024 vintage was challenging and ultimately saw severely reduced yields due to excessive rainfall with warm temperatures, leading to poor flowering and uneven fruit set and pressure from downy mildew. Low lying parcels suffered the most. Harvest began on September 13th and the yields, while small, arrived in good condition.
Tasting Note
Chorey "Les Beaumonts" features sleek tannins, modest alcohol, and a subtly generous texture. While matured in oak there is no obvious influence beyond a juicy mid-palate with lively red berry fruit.

About the Grape

Pinot Noir
In France, makes a silky, deceptively powerful wine of elegant, complex aromas and subtle, red fruit flavors, with earthy, floral, mushroom and mineral notes. In California, shows ripe, sweet characters.
