From vines planted in the alluvial valley floor with stony soils which promote early physiological ripening, moderate potential alcohol, and expressive yet restrained aromas with a balanced dry finish.
Harvest Note
This was an unusual vintage with significant above average rainfall and risk of mildew. Temperatures were warm but not hot, with dry conditions only beginning at the end of July. September was cool and harvest stretched from September 10 to October 6 with frequent interruptions by storms. Well-drained soils were key to easy fermentations.
Tasting Note
This is a bone-dry white wine with discreet spice and dry fruit aromas, a velvety texture with nice tension and length, and with only modest alcohol.
