This site lies just below the Brand Grand Cru on a steep slope. 2020 marks a turning point for Clos Jebsal wines. Previously this site reliably produced late-harvest sweet wines, however as a consequence of climate change the noble rot does not occur and henceforth the wines are dry.

Tasting Note

This wine is slightly subdued and austere at release. Over time toasted floral notes emerge with subtle fruit. On the palate this wine is delicate, elegant and ethereal.

Food Pairing

Ideal with a range of seafood both grilled and stewed, also superb with spiced chicken dishes and tangy cheeses
