The Simple Grape California Pinot Noir is all-natural, sustainable, zero-sugar, low carb, vegan-friendly and gluten free. The Simple Grape wines are a naturally delicious choice one can feel confident about enjoying as part of a balanced lifestyle. Individual Pinot Noir blocks are harvested at night and briefly cold soaked to ensure maximum flavor. The blocks are fermented separately in stainless steel before being racked into oak for aging.
The 2019 growing season was cool and mild for most of the spring and summer. The heat spells in early August sped up ripening which lead to an earlier harvest. While the harvest was smaller than usual, the 2019 vintage produced smaller grapes, with concentrated flavors.
Full of spice and red and black fruit notes of cherry and blackberry. Round and complex on your palate, you will find in this wine a richness that belies the wine's healthy attributes.
A great choice for salmon or swordfish, poultry or pork. It also pairs well with many vegetables and legumes, including: mushrooms, lentils, broccoli or turnips. Excellent with a soy-based vegetable stir fry.
