Sequoia Grove Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is crafted for texture and aromatic purity. This wine reflects maritime sub AVAs, anchored by the Oak Knoll District and the renowned Ryans Vineyard: this site provides electric acidity and mineral clarity. The remaining fruit comes from the wind-swept hills of Carneros for a citrus-driven backbone. The grapes are whole-cluster pressed and undergo native fermentation in French oak and stainless steel barrels. To build density, the wine undergoes five months of bâtonnage and eight months of aging on fine lees. The inclusion of Sauvignon Musqué (a clonal variant of Sauvignon Blanc prized for its floral intensity and weight) adds tropical complexity and a silken mouthfeel.

Harvest Note
The 2025 vintage began perfectly, as plentiful winter rains replenished the soil and stable weather ensured a clean bud break, bloom, and fruit set. This was followed by an unusually temperate summer: June and July were recorded as the coolest in over a quarter-century. As a result, the marine layer and fog kept daytime highs moderate, allowing for a long, methodical ripening period, ideal for white aromatics. Harvest extended into late September, resulting in fruit of incredible concentration and lively, high acidity. The slow pace of the native fermentations, conducted at lower temperatures, further preserved the subtle nuances and ultra-expressive aromatics of this cool vintage.
Tasting Note
Aromatic lemon verbena, white peach, and floral notes lead to a crisp attack. The textured midpalate features juicy lemon, passion fruit, and guava. Lightly creamy weight balances mouthwatering acidity, finishing with flinty mineral notes, limestone, and fresh lime zest.
Food Pairing
Pair with seafood, tangy cheeses, spring vegetables or aromatic Asian cuisine like Thai or Vietnamese
