A blend of Chardonnay from Leyda and Casablanca Valleys along the Chilean coast, these grapes are grown in granitic soils with a significant presence of clay and sand banks along the low hills with gentle slopes. Dense plantings, low yields, and leaf pulling all help to concentrate the aromatics and flavors in this refreshing Chardonnay.

Harvest Note
The season began with a cold, dry winter that gave way to a cool spring. Low rainfall greatly lowered yields in the Aconcagua coastal region, while the cool summer and slow ripening produced concentrated aromas and flavors of exceptional quality.
Tasting Note
Lemon yellow in color with glints of green, the nose is fragrant with aromas of peach, pineapple, and tropical fruit. The palate is very bright and fresh with good body and balanced acidity.

About the Grape

Chardonnay
Though it has a distinctive profile, Chardonnay reflects other factors such as soil composition and vinification technique. Chardonnay is a reliable, hardy and prolific vine whose only real vulnerabilities are frost and uneven development of fruit.
