Shades of Blue is a refreshing Riesling crafted in Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest and most dynamic winegrowing region. Sourced from a small, family-owned winery, it reflects generations of care and tradition in every bottle. Crisp, aromatic, and balanced, this wine captures the essence of Rheinhessen’s sun-soaked vineyards and mineral-rich soils.

Harvest Note

Harvest in Rheinhessen begins in late September and can extend into October, depending on the vintage and desired ripeness levels. Warm days and cool nights during the late growing season help preserve acidity while allowing grapes to develop concentrated flavors. Harvesting is often done by hand on steeper slopes to ensure careful selection of the best fruit. Yields are moderate, with a focus on maintaining quality and expression of the region’s diverse soils, particularly loess and limestone.

Tasting Note

With fragrant aromas of tropical and stone fruits, this semi-dry Riesling balances ripe fruit notes with a crisp citrus finish. Serve well chilled.

Food Pairing

Enjoy Shades of Blue as a refreshing drink on its own at any waterside destination, or pair with spicy dishes, salads, chicken dishes, fish, cheeses or desserts.
