In 2005, Mariano and Alfredo wanted a creative way to integrate their wines into the market. They took a shop in downtown Verona and converted it into a wine bar selling exclusively Buglioni wines, named Osteria del Bugiardo. Osteria del Bugiardo, just a few minutes from the Buglioni winery, quickly became popular because of its warm, welcoming atmosphere and the delicious local cuisine paired with Buglioni wines. Then came Piscaria Del Bugiardo, a fish and wine bar located in the heart of Valpolicella Classico, and two other restaurants, Enoteca del Bugiardo and Locanda Buglioni. The family also runs Dimora Buglioni, an inn in Valpolicella, and Buglioni Residenze, apartments in Verona. Now hospitality has become a key element in the family business.
