This superb vineyard, acquired in 1993, sited on an amphitheater-like plot near the top of the slop of En la Fée is approximately 85% pinot noir and 15% chardonnay. This vineyard yields both a seductive red and a unique, earthy white wine.

Harvest Note
2023 was a hot and dry growing season which was saved by significant rain in June. This allowed the vines to withstand summer heat and drought and led to ideal sanitary conditions and a modest yield yet concentrated vintage.
Tasting Note
Clos de Malte red presents aromas of dried flowers, tobacco and mossy earth with a seductive and generous texture. There is a delicacy and elegance apparent from the start making this wine highly versatile with equally refined cuisines.
