2020 vintage
Harvest Note
The 2020 growing season was cool and mild for most of the spring and summer. The heat spells in early August sped up ripening which led to an earlier harvest. While the harvest was smaller than usual, the 2020 vintage produced smaller grapes, with concentrated flavors.
Tasting Note
Bright citrus notes on the nose are rounded out with a rich pear and tropical fruit on the palate. Great richness and concentration, with delicate hints of vanilla and baking spice.
Food Pairing
An ideal pairing for poultry, shellfish, or meaty fish (like cod), this wine also complements sweet potatoes (a superfood!), squash or grilled veggies.

About the Grape

Chardonnay
Though it has a distinctive profile, Chardonnay reflects other factors such as soil composition and vinification technique. Chardonnay is a reliable, hardy and prolific vine whose only real vulnerabilities are frost and uneven development of fruit.
