Sonoma County’s temperate weather is ideal for growing flavorful Chardonnay. This Buttery Chardonnay is sourced from top growers in warmer appellations of Sonoma County. Each carefully selected vineyard contributes distinctive and individual qualities to the finished wine. To preserve Chardonnay’s delicate flavors, aromas and acidity, the grapes are picked at night and very early morning so the fruit arrives cold at the winery. Grapes are then pressed whole cluster and fermented in French Oak barrels before being racked to rotary tanks to promote a rich, creamy texture. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for ten months before bottling.
