A classic since 1950, Parallèle 45 is the oldest Côtes du Rhône brand still in existence. Parallèle 45 is named after the 45th parallel, a famous circle of latitude that marks the midpoint between the equator and the North Pole. It is known as the "Latitude of Great Wines" and passes over the cellars of Paul Jaboulet Aîné.

The Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, and Marsanne grapes for Parallèle 45 Blanc are farmed organically. They grow on 40-year-old vines in clayey limestone and alluvial deposits composed of round pebbles. The grapes are destemmed, crushed, and undergo fermentation. The wine is then aged for 6 months in stainless steel vats on fine lees.

Harvest Note
A mild and relatively dry winter was followed by a spring that alternated between regular rains and warmer periods, allowing for steady vine growth. Budbreak was early due to high temperatures but stabilized with a cool May. The summer was marked by a mix of hot periods with storms that ensured sufficient water supply. Veraison benefited from favorable conditions for steady and balanced ripening, resulting in healthy and aromatic grapes.
Tasting Note
A fruity and crisp white wine with notes of mango, peach, apricot, lemon zest and white flowers
