Genevrières is a unique terroir, nearer the village and with soils of stones and reddish clay. It's slightly cooler aspect leads to wines with a firm structure, precision and great length. Chardonnay is harvested by hand and brought to the winery in Beaune for triage, destemming, and initial fermentation and transfer to oak casks. Malolactic fermentation is managed according to the nature of the vintage to retain freshness and vibrancy.

Harvest Note
2023 was a hot and dry growing season which was saved by significant rain in June. This allowed the vines to withstand summer heat and drought and led to ideal sanitary conditions and a modest yield yet concentrated vintage.
Tasting Note
This fascinating and complex full-bodied white offers aromas of ripe citrus, damp earth, and faint hints of berry fruit. The acidity is brisk yet cushioned, and the long dry finish reveals a nutty grace note.
