The Beaune vineyards are central to the history and foundation of the Jadot range. Bressandes is primarily a red vineyard however a small portion at the very top of the slope is planted to chardonnay. These grapes are picked by hand, carefully sorted, and vinified with natural yeasts and minimal intervention. The wine is patiently aged in a mix of barrels for 14 months before being bottled with no filtration.

Harvest Note
The 2020 vintage was quite early, as the growth cycle commenced with a warm period in late winter which was followed by a hot and dry summer. There were a few well-timed rains which moderated the drought conditions and relieved the vines. There were no diseases to contend with and the fruit arrived in a perfectly healthy state. Despite the heat alcohol levels are quite moderate, while acidity was retained. These are wines with lovely balance, a hint of tension, and which are capable of aging.
Tasting Note
Brisk and taut incisive entry supports effusive white flower and stone fruit flavor nuances. The finish is sleek and long with saline grace notes.
Food Pairing
Versatile and suited to grilled fish, fresh oysters, roast chicken or even basic vegetable preparations.
