On the Wine Enthusiast “Top 100 Best Buys of 2012,” Maison Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages 2010 is described as, “A wine that combines richness with sweet cherry flavors and a firm tannic edge. Acidity and ripeness have produced a structured, food-friendly wine.”
Created to help consumers, the Wine Enthusiast Top 100 Best Buy list is a compilation of wines with an SRP of $15 or less. All are labeled as Best Buys, meaning each wine possesses an excellent QPR (quality-to-price) ratio.
Wine Enthusiast’s experts reviewed more than 17,000 wines over the past 12 months and awarded the Best Buy designation to only 1,134, or roughly 6.7%. The list was narrowed down to select 100 wines that showcase the best relationship between score and price, with weight also given to availability and buzz.
