Terroir & Vineyards

This Riesling is a vibrant expression of Germany’s largest winegrowing region of Rheinhessen. The vineyards of Rheinhessen roll across sun-drenched hills and fertile valleys, where loess and limestone soils nurture a diverse range of grape varieties, especially the region’s celebrated Riesling. The result is a wine with elegant acidity, delicate floral notes, and a mineral edge that’s unmistakably Rheinhessen. The unique blue and red slate soils lend a stony precision and electric freshness to the final profile.
After the grapes have been deemed ready for harvest, the grapes are pressed and the juice is slowly fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, preserving the delicate fruit. Following fermentation, the wines are kept in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Shades Riesling and Rosé are ready to enjoy immediately. For optimal enjoyment it is best served chilled.
