After graduating from Siena University with a degree in economics and banking, Antonio Moretti opened his first apparel store, a business that expanded to encompass a chain of shops throughout Italy, and the acquisitions of Arfango, known for its fine leather goods, and Bonora, a brand of handmade shoes. He also shares a partnership with the brand Car Shoe Patrizio Bertelli, owner of the Prada Group.
Moretti’s focus on quality has continued with the vineyards of Tenuta Sette Ponti, which he took over from his father; Poggio al Lupo, the Maremma estate that he purchased in 1999; and Feudo Maccari, the Sicilian estate he assembled in 2000.
In addition to a daughter, Moretti has three sons. He enjoys hunting in his spare time.
