Our Team

Chiara Pepe has been the winemaker for Domaine de La Chapelle since 2026.  Born into a historic family of vignerons, Chiara Pepe embodies the values of heritage, farming ethics and a culture of long-term stewardship. Her approach, built upon biodynamic principles and grounded in close observation of soils and vines, aligns naturally with the work undertaken at Domaine de La Chapelle since the Frey family’s arrival in 2006. Chiara divides her time exclusively between Domaine de La Chapelle and her family’s Emidio Pepe estate in Abruzzo, Italy.
