Jesse Fox, winemaker at Sequoia Grove Winery, said he values the connection his work gives him to the land. “Every vineyard has its own voice, and although every vintage is different and brings new challenges, there is this continuity of site that you get to explore year after year,” Fox said. “That connection to the land and nature has always been important to me.”
He also loves the teamwork, especially during harvest, and creating something people can share with friends and family. “At the end of the day, we’re creating something that’s meant to bring people together and make them happy,” Fox said. “That’s a big part of what continues to inspire me.”
