This is from old vines grown both in the alluvial plain next to the village of Turckheim and the lower reaches of the calcaire soils below Clos Windsbuhl. The Pinot Blanc brings both structure and aromatics, and the resulting wines are dry yet fleshy and intense.

Harvest Note
The 2024 vintage will certainly be remembered as an unusual one which defied climate change. Rainfall was 30% to 50% above average and extremely high temperatures were largely avoided. Well-drained soils were key to our consistent fermentations.
Tasting Note
Expressive aromas of white fruit and floral nuances lead to a velvety mouthfeel with slight saline hints over the long and dry finish.

About the Grape

Pinot Bianco
Pinot Bianco offers delicate aromas and fresh, plump, creamy flavors of pears and apples with notes of spice or minerals, depending on soil type.
Auxerrois
Auxerrois is often used in blends with Pinot Blanc, with which is it often compared, to yield still wines as well as Crémants d'Alsace. It lends body and an herbaceous, citrus character.
