This is from old vines grown in the alluvial plain next to the village of Turckheim. This area ripens early and allows for grapes which retain acidity and avoid any hint of over-ripeness. Gentle and slow fermentation on lees produces a dry wine which showcases the deep stony soils and authentic class of this varietal.

Harvest Note
The 2024 vintage will certainly be remembered as an unusual one which defied climate change. Rainfall was 30% to 50% above average and extremely high temperatures were largely avoided. Well-drained soils were key to our consistent fermentations.
Tasting Note
Aromas feature the classic smokiness and toast associated with Pinot Gris. Over time these mature into beeswax and honey. The palate is intense with great concentration and a velvety smooth long and dry finish.
