Sonoma County’s temperate weather is ideal for growing flavorful Chardonnay. This Buttery Chardonnay is sourced from top growers in warmer appellations of Sonoma County. Each carefully selected vineyard contributes distinctive and individual qualities to the finished wine. To preserve Chardonnay’s delicate flavors, aromas and acidity, the grapes are picked at night and very early morning so the fruit arrives cold at the winery. Grapes are then pressed whole cluster and fermented in French Oak barrels before being racked to rotary tanks to promote a rich, creamy texture. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for ten months before bottling.

Harvest Note
The 2024 growing season started off wet with abundant rains revitalizing the soil. Cooler temperatures extended ripening and allowed the grapes time to develop deep color, varietal intensity and balanced acidity. Chardonnay was picked in late August through early September.
Tasting Note
This wine offers a luxurious, creamy mouthfeel with aromas of warm apple galette, roasted pineapple and toasted almonds. Flavors of ripe peach, tropical fruits and a hint of gingersnap lead to a silky texture and long finish with a touch of acidity for a refreshing balance.
