Quinta do Portal, a family-owned Portuguese estate and pioneering “Boutique Winery,” has been producing award-winning Douro wines under the guidance of Paulo Coutinho and Pascal Chatonnet since the 1990s. In March 2024, its acquisition by The Fladgate Partnership reinforced a commitment to tradition, quality, and future growth.

Tasting Note

Concentrated ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruit and some floral notes in perfect harmony with some toast from the oak. Expressive on the palate, it has lovely acidity and a pleasant fruity and toasty aftertaste. The final is long and complex, and it will develop further with more time in bottle.

Food Pairing

This Duoro Red can be enjoyed with your favorite red meat or cheeses.
